Which player does the WNBA name MVP for the 2026 season?

One name dominates the WNBA MVP race as the regular season enters its final stretch

Which player does the WNBA name MVP for the 2026 season?

With four games remaining in the WNBA regular season, one name dominates both the MVP conversation and the prediction markets: A'ja Wilson. She tops the league at 26.0 points per game and 8.0 win shares, and Kalshi’s contract on her winning the 2026 MVP award trades at 92 cents.

The clearest challenge to Wilson comes from the league’s top team, where a rookie guard has become the face of a 31–9 campaign. Olivia Miles averages 19.7 points and 6.0 assists for the Lynx. However, her Kalshi MVP contract trades at just 5 cents. That's because only one rookie in 29 seasons has ever won the award.

Wilson, by contrast, won last season’s MVP even though her team was the No. 2 seed, collecting 51 of 72 first‑place votes and 657 points from a squad that finished 30–14.

The main remaining risk is Wilson's health, as she was listed as questionable with a back injury on August 23, and the four games that close her regular season on September 24 are the only ones she can potentially miss.

Nonetheless, she has already demonstrated her exceptional playing skills, making it highly unlikely that anyone else could win the award. Therefore, we believe "No" at 92 cents for an 8.7% return is worth the risk.
