One disputed word on Polymarket is worth 262% tonight
This same question has been written 12 separate times since 2025 and the answer has flipped both ways on identical facts

Two proposals and two disputes in four days, and the July leg of Polymarket's US anti-cartel operation market still has no answer. It expired at midnight with Yes bid at 72.4 cents. The other side costs 27.6 cents and pays 262%, which is what we bet on.
This market resolves Yes only if American government personnel directly participate on the ground in an anti-cartel operation, or carry out a strike on a cartel abroad. Intelligence, surveillance, logistical, support and advisory roles are named in the rules and excluded. The 2014 capture of El Chapo appears by name as an example that would not qualify.
July was made up of the excluded categories. American special boat crews ran river patrols with Ecuador's navy on the northern border on July 14 and 15. Southern Command's own statement, carried by El Universo, says it collaborates by contributing security information and supporting Ecuadorian operations.
- Infobae reported that the institutions involved announced no seizures, no captures, and no vessels intercepted.
- Southern Command's July news page lists earthquake relief in Venezuela and an exercise in Chile.
- The June leg of this same market resolved No on a June 21 raid coordinated with the same boat team, and nobody disputed it.
- Mexico's president said in May there cannot be agents from any US institution operating in the Mexican field.
- Of $970,000 traded here since June 17, $947000 arrived in the last seven days, on news dated July 14.
